I saw the mirror staring back at me
And it told me I’m a self machine
It said I gave you these scars
And I gave you these wounds
I told you the false
And I showed you the truth
I saw the mirror staring back at me
And it told me I’m a self machine
Lonely robot in a wasteland
rusting in a lonely harbour
Lonely robot in a wasteland
rusting in the harbour’s water
I’m not a human if you say I’m not
I’m not a human if my hinges lock
And this motor that you call my heart
Is another machine that won’t stop——————
I’ve probably watched this about twenty million times over in the last 24 hours.
Take me somewhere where the sun shines a lazy blanket on a bright day, take me where my window passes through a crowd united in hats on their heads and ray bans on unpretentious display, where the air is heavy with no bills or errands or cares, and I’m there. I want to be there. At heart I am a girl who loves the sun, craves free air. I’d choose wood and nature over concrete and comfort anytime. Give me summer, not winter. Give me freedom, not walls. Give me love, not just stories. Give me a book, and a glass of wine. Give me a yoga mat and an open beach and a sun set and a sun rise in full display. I’d worship the sun every morning, and I’d dance to the moon light every night. I would really love to.
I don’t think I belong here.

I love Coco’s eyes, and that intense stare when she frowns between belting out lines. Her name is Eliot Paulina Sumner, but we know her as Coco. She is not conventionally beautiful, or what the world would even call good looking, but I find her intensely intriguing and very, very beautiful.I think it’s normal for all of us to sometimes fall in love with strangers.
After all, we all love some things we aren’t supposed to.
Right now all I wish for is some space in my heart to learn to love the things that are good for me, and to let go of the things that are not.
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s sun rise.
